I went to a Cars and Coffee with the Shelby Breakfast Club folks.  Our itinerary included stopping at the Shelby American Collection on the way back to get a replacement poster that the framing guys messed up.

On the way in I spotted this baby.  I chatted with the owner.  His dad bought it in 1971 and is the original owner (his dad passed away a about a year ago).  This is a "survivor" - it has never been repainted or in any way restored.

This now is #1 in my "cars that caught my breath".  (Ron Pratte's original T-bird is now #2).

When Dave and Otto pulled the car inside everyone came to look at it.  It'll be there for about 3 months but this will be as close as you'll get to it.

It's a family heirloom.
